- without any arguments;

- and no ifs, ands, or buts;

- [in limited contexts] and I don't want to hear any back talk.

     ♦ Вам дали приказ - вот и выполняйте без всяких разговоров. You were ordered to do something, so do it-and no arguments.

2. (to do sth. to s.o.) quickly and decisively, without wasting time on discussion, explanations etc:

- without wasting words;

- wasting no time on talk;

- [in limited contexts] without (even) giving s.o. time to object (explain (himself) etc ).

     ♦ Когда Антон в третий раз опоздал на работу, бригадир уволил его без всяких разговоров. The third time Anton was late to work, the foreman fired him without even giving him time to object.
